The Kansas Expocentre is located at the intersection of Topeka and 17th and hosts tons of events, from concerts and Rodeos, to a World Championship Horseshoe Tournament. The land the Expocentre is built on has a long history here in topeka. The land has been used since the late 19th century for many town festivals and is the original site for the Kansas State Fair.

As a Topeka native, I've been aware of the expo for years. I attended high school graduation there, played a show there, I've gone to hockey games there also. I wasn't aware of some of this history. Thanks for sharing!
